REDLIGHT STUDIO is a professional recording studio on Jumen Road in Huangpu District, central Shanghai, designed and built to international top-tier studio acoustic standards, with a design background-noise target of NC25 (GYJ 42-89 broadcast technical-room standard). Its flagship control room, Studio R, runs Kii Three BXT main monitors, a Pro Tools HD and Avid MTRX Studio recording system, and an analogue mix and mastering chain built from Dangerous Music, Manley and CharterOak units. The studio's preamps include Neve, API, Phoenix Audio and Focusrite, with microphones from Neumann, Upton, Heiserman and Sony. All three production systems are linked by analogue lines and Dante networking.

Studio R

The flagship control room: a room-within-a-room with irregular acoustic geometry, approximately 6.45 × 4.0 × 3.5 m (L × W × H) as finished. Measured low-frequency reverberation time is below 0.3 s, with clean, smooth decay across the spectrum, meeting the acoustic standard of a mastering room; custom acoustic doors are rated at 48 dB. Its acoustic design was led by Red Liu, with Grammy Award winner Luca Bignardi closely involved in key decisions and final calibration.
